By using our website, you agree to do so in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Please use our site responsibly and for its intended purpose only. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its functionality, or attempt to access it using automated or unlawful methods. All content on this website—including text, images, branding and choreography concepts—belongs to Dancing Hen’s Nights and may not be copied, reproduced or used without permission.Welcome to Dancing Hen’s Nights.
By making a booking with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions
Bookings & Payments
- Your booking is confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received.
- Full payment must be finalised prior to your event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All pricing is in AUD and subject to change prior to booking confirmation.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
Travel & Locations
- We service the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and surrounding areas.
- We are Gold Coast based and do not charge travel fees for bookings within the Gold Coast area. Travel fees may apply for locations outside the Gold Coast, including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and surrounding areas.
- You are responsible for providing a suitable venue for the lesson, unless a venue has been arranged directly through Dancing Hen’s Nights as part of your booking.
Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made with at least 72 hours (3 days) notice are eligible for a full refund, including any deposit paid.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit only.
- Reschedules may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability.
- If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Changes to Bookings
- Final participant numbers must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to your booking.
- Song choices and booking details must be confirmed at least 7 days prior.
- Changes after these time frames may not be possible.
- We may make minor adjustments (such as instructor or timing) where reasonably required.
Class Experience
- Classes run for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours depending on your selected package.
- You can choose from 19+ dance styles. Most routines are pre-choreographed, but we will do our best to accommodate special song requests.
- Our instructors may make adjustments throughout the lesson to suit the group’s ability, confidence and overall vibe.
- We cater to all ages, abilities and confidence levels.
Venue Requirements
- You must provide a clean, safe space with enough room for participants to move comfortably.
- Outdoor bookings require a flat surface and a weather backup plan.
- If a space is deemed unsafe or unsuitable, we may modify, pause or cancel the session.
- Dancing Hen’s Nights is not responsible for any issues arising from client-arranged venues, including space limitations or access restrictions.
Client Responsibilities
- The booking holder is responsible for all participants.
- Respectful behaviour toward instructors is expected at all times.
- Any damage to property or equipment may be charged accordingly.
- Responsible alcohol consumption is expected.
Instructors & Equipment
- We provide a professional instructor and music setup suitable for most environments.
- If an instructor becomes unavailable, a suitable replacement will be provided where possible.
Props & Accessories
- We may provide props for use during your lesson depending on the selected dance style. These may include feather boas, feather fans, lace fans, dancing canes and coin skirts.
- All props remain the property of Dancing Hen’s Nights and are provided for use during the lesson.
Liability & Safety
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
- Please advise us of any injuries or physical limitations prior to your class.
To the extent permitted by law, Dancing Hen’s Nights is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Photos & Videos
- We may take photos or videos during sessions for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please notify us in writing prior to your event.
Themes & Special Requests
- We welcome themed events. Instructor outfits and special requests are subject to availability.
Force Majeure
- We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including weather, venue issues, illness or government restrictions.
Privacy
- We collect personal information for booking and service delivery purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
